How to Download, Install, and Use Church Center

Online and On Your Phone

Church Center is Gateway Church’s online and mobile portal designed to help you stay connected to everything happening in our church family.

Through Church Center, you can:

• Connect with others
• Join a small group
• Sign up for events
• Give securely online
• Manage volunteer schedules
• Access the church directory

Church Center can be accessed through your web browser or through the mobile app on your phone. Below are step-by-step instructions to help you get started.

Step 1:

Download and Install the Church Center App

  1. Search your app store for “Church Center”
    OR visit the Android or iOS app store directly.
  2. Download and install the app.
  3. Open the app and tap “Get Started.”
  4. Allow Church Center to find Gateway Church by either:
    • Allowing location access and selecting Gateway Church (York, PA)
      OR
    • Searching by zip code: 17403
  5. Tap on the Gateway Church logo and select “This is my church.”
  6. Enter your phone number.
    (Please use the number you have provided to Gateway and one that can receive text messages.)
  7. Church Center will text you a login code. Enter that code in the app.
  8. Complete your login setup.

That’s it! You’re all set. Once logged in, you won’t need to repeat these steps.

Step 2:

Using the Church Center App

Gateway Church has multiple features available within Church Center, with more to come. Most features are located on the bottom navigation menu or on the main home screen.

Home

Find basic information about Gateway Church, service times, and announcements.

Give

A simple, secure way to give online.
Enter the amount, choose your fund (Tithes, Missions, Building Fund, etc.), select a payment method, and give. You may also choose to help cover processing fees.

Groups

Discover available small groups and ministry groups — where they meet, how often they gather, and how to join. Group members can also communicate within the app.


Sign Ups

Register for:

  • Church events
  • Gateway Kids activities
  • Youth events
  • Special services
  • Encounter Nights
  • Classes and trainings

Calendar

View upcoming services and church events.

Directory

Access our church family directory (invitation required).


Account (Top Right Corner)

Here you can:

  • Update your contact information
  • View giving history
  • Manage recurring donations
  • Update payment methods
  • View volunteer schedules
  • Adjust notification settings

Notifications

Be sure to enable notifications in your phone settings so you don’t miss updates, messages, or announcements.

Your Account

Updating Your Information and Photo

  1. Tap your photo or initials in the top-right corner.
  2. Tap your name/photo at the top to open the Edit Profile screen.
  3. Tap any field to update your information.
  4. When finished, tap Update to save.

To update your photo:

  • Tap your current photo or select Update Photo
  • Upload a new image from your device

For Heads of Household

From the Account screen:

  • Tap the photos under My Household
  • Select a family member
  • Edit their information
  • Tap Update to save

Viewing and Managing Your Giving

To view or manage your giving:

  1. Tap your photo (top-right).
  2. Select My Giving.

From there, you can:

View Donation History

See your recent gifts and transactions.

Manage Recurring Donations

Select Recurring Donations to edit amount, frequency, or payment method.

Update Payment Methods

Add or update a bank account or credit card.
This is especially helpful for updating expired cards.

Notification Preferences

Choose how you are notified about online giving activity.

Statements

Year-end giving statements will be available here when prepared.

Church Directory

To access the Gateway Church Directory, you must first receive an invitation from a pastor or staff member.

Invitations are sent via email to the primary email address we have on file for you.

If You Receive an Invitation:

  1. Click the link in the email.
  2. Log in using your Church Center credentials.
  3. Navigate to your profile.
  4. Select My Directory Settings.
  5. Choose what information you’d like to share.
  6. Click Update Profile to save.

Church Center is one of the best ways to stay connected to what God is doing at Gateway Church — from Sunday services and Wednesday night prayer to Encounter Nights and special events.
